Hi! I'm Serena and I'm a licensed Tour Guide and Private Chef.

Born and bred in Rome, I moved to the Tuscan countryside in 2005 and since then I have been sharing my passion for food, art and history  with people as a way to connect and have insights into Italian culture [more about me].

A tour or a culinary activity with me will be entirely tailored to fit your individual interests and goalsAll you have to do is let me know your wishes. Special treats are available for Suite FlorenceVilla Il Cerretino and Palazzo Aldobrandini del Papa guests!

Enjoy your holiday, EAT AT HOME!

Should you be interested in a full time service for the duration of your stay or a simple welcome dinner at your arrival, a Personal Chef is the best solution for an excellent price/quality ratio

All the dishes of my menu are from the Italian tradition; I use fresh in-season ingredients and available local products. The only thing you have to tell me is what would you like to eat, if you have any food allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions and I'll send you a choice of proposals studied to fit your specific wishes. I can take care of all your nutritional regimens: if you need a gluten free service, I'm glad to inform you that I'm a trained and certified chef for gluten-free cooking.

Craving for learning Tuscan traditional dishes? Eager to hone your culinary skills?  Whether you are a chef interested in a professional training program or a family seeking a fun and tasty pastime for the kids, individual cooking classes adapt to your plans. At your location or in a fully equipped professional kitchen in the center of Florence, from a 2 hours class to a full day experience, all the lessons are hands-on. We can focus on ingredients, regional recipes, techniques and the chemistry of food and aromatic compounds. It’ll be my pleasure to suggest the best menus and duration adjusted to your needs.

From a vibrant, live cooking show to hands-on pasta and pizza classes, group lessons are the best recreational activity after a whole day visiting the city and its treasures. Suitable for large groups (10 people or more) traveling in Italy, these lessons are the perfect solution for companies looking for engaging team building proposals, tour operators organising entertaining package travels, universities planning students trips to learn Italian culture but also for striking baby showers, birthday parties and other celebrations. Group lessons can be held at your location or in a fully equipped professional kitchen in the center of Florence. I'll be pleased to send you special programs tailored to your time, number of participants and budget.

Bespoke guided tours

My love for travel, studying and storytelling is what pushed me to become a Tour Guide. But what spurs me everyday to discover new treasures and new stories in the part of Italy where I live, are other people's personal interests.

That's why instead of offering fixed tours and itineraries and before making any proposal, I ask my guests what they expect from visiting my Country and its gems. Disclosing your dreams and goals is the first step to design your unique experience. Whatever your interest is - art, cuisine, history, nature, fashion - I can show you around. You'll be surprised to learn how a visit to the Uffizi, a time-travel through the archaeological treasures, a stroll following the scent of "the city of flowers" or a relaxing city sightseeing will address your needs directly.
